Jude – zeal
2 Cor 11: 12
Jude v. 4
Heb 3: 15 – 4: 11
John 3: 9 Nicodemus rebuked by Jesus. “No man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven.” This destroys the commonly held belief that mankind goes to heaven.

Jude v. 1
Matt 13: 53
John 7: 1-5
We are sanctified and preserved only if we are willing. Jesus won’t occupy where we are, when we are still interested in and giving importance to the world.

What did the early martyrs say that is different from what the Christians say today?
Each taught the silliness of the world system, the futility of self improvement.
Discussion about faith / the mind of Christ.
Gal 4: 13 How do we persecute him born after the spirit?  By using our minds, cause and effect.
The only one that’s an heir is Christ in us. We can never justify the use of our minds.
