John Rutledge has been writing and performing music for our worship services for decades. These pages are a collection of some of his work.<\/em><\/p>\n

What’s this music about?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Recently I’ve had requests from people to access recordings of my songs, so I thought I’d try to put as many of them as possible together here, and provide a little background on where they came from.<\/p>\n

These songs and performances span almost 50 years, from my time playing with a group called Trinity in college, then through my years creating music for worship at our church – originally under the umbrella of Trinity Foundation and now called Community on Columbia in Dallas, Texas.<\/p>\n

The songs flow from my experiences as a believer in Jesus, enriched by family, close friendships and the nurturing community of a church that has met in our living room in Dallas for about 37 years.<\/p>\n

Some recent songs are recorded on videos made by my son Johnny, and I expect I’ll be adding more of these recent sessions here soon.<\/p>\n
