March 24, 2014 – Luke 12:37

“Servants” = bondservant; a servant for life Lord has purchased you; you no longer have any rights.

Jesus showed in His walk; he lived only with interests of the Father as guiding force.   Gnostics believed that there is a spiritual and natural life and the two were completely separate.

You are either a servant to god of this world or a servant to God. You’ve never had an independent life. You’ve lost the right to yourself in every dimension.

Mt. 8:1-13,     Mt. 10:24-27

Rom. 1:1-Paul identifies himself as a bondslave before adding that he is an apostle. Phil. 1:”Paul and Timothy, the servants of Jesus Christ…” Titus 1:1 “Paul a servant II Peter 1:1

Jude 1:1 Jude, the bondslave of Jesus Christ…
