Phil. 3: 10-19  Even if the serpent eats the daintiest food, it changes in its mouth to dust.  All men’s minds eat dust.
Num. 21: 4-9
2 Kings 18: 1-4  The only thing that all men worship is their minds, i.e. the serpent. Here the nation of Israel made an idol out of Moses’ brass serpent.
John 3: 1-15
John 8: 21-30 The people of Israel looked on the serpent and were healed.  We look on Jesus, and are healed.
