June 4, 2013 – Luke 11:29-30

Nineveh was huge, built by Nimrod; had walls so wide that two chariots could ride side by side on top.

Gen. 10:6-10

Skins made by God that covered Adam and Eve were highly valued and supposedly wars were fought over these skins.

Nimrod had no children so son of high priest was next in line for kingship. Nimrod ordered children to be killed because astrologers predicted that a child was born who would usurp Nimrod.

Abram intuited that anything that changed with time was not worthy to be worshipped. Destroyed idols in temple and for that he was thrown into fiery furnace and survived. Nimrod banished Abram and his family. Abram, Moses, and Jesus Christ gave up being king of whole world.

Let your speech be seasoned with salt and cast down imaginations.
