2 Cor 10: 3-6  We, as disciples, must bring into captivity every thought that exalts itself…

The purpose of the bible is to prove we are all losers. We must realize our poverty in order to see the mystery of God.
The original paradise apple was a pomegranate, which had 613 seeds, as the number of laws of Moses. We destroy/smash our knowledge of good and evil by smashing the fruit at the altar.
