2 Peter 1: 12 – 21 (warning believers of false teachers)  Anytime we do something or think something not in faith, we put Christ in prison internally.
v. 20 – unless you can prove what you believe with the scriptures, your thoughts and beliefs mean nothing.
We deny Christ by saying we exist (as opposed to saying Christ doesn’t exist)
