Romans 7: 1 We can do nothing but sin. We secretly believe the Holy Spirit is going to come along and fix us. He’s not.
Law is, by definition, cause and effect.
Romans 7: 1 – 21 This chapter is about thinking up things to do and putting God’s name on it.
Our mind cannot be fixed.
Romans 8: 5 Your mind is the evil one. Faith is total abandonment of self.
