Acts 20: 1  Luke was accompanying Paul and the others. He wrote Acts and didn’t mention himself due to his humility.
He says he is pure from the blood of all men – there was no one who he didn’t preach to.

If any man love (give importance to) the world the love of the Father is not in him.
Acts 19: 21 – 41  Paul’s preaching caused the idol-makers to lose business and to hate and persecute Paul and his companion believers.
We, the human race, worship similar gods and goddesses.
In America we give importance to free enterprise, sports, the stock exchange, self, self protection, self advancement.
This has to be faced by each believer.

Acts 19: 1 – 23 Would we be able to show that Jesus was the Christ by the Old Testament scriptures?  The “new” testament should better be called the fulfilled testament.
Christians now, just like the Jews, want to keep themselves alive, to excuse the use of our mind.

Acts 17: 25  The modern church has made God into an egoist, needing our praise. He doesn’t need anything.
v. 30 – God commands all men everywhere to repent. It’s not optional.
Every time we use our mind, repentance is necessary.

God doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands, nor does he need our worship. God is the same yesterday, today, always.

Romans 8: 6 – 7  The carnal mind is enmity against God.
Acts 17: 27  He is not far from every one of us because of God’s seed being placed in all flesh at Pentecost.
Mark 4: 3 – 20  God cannot permit natural man to be saved

Acts 17: 15 –  Paul was converting Jews (away from the synagogues) and so some of the synagogue Jews came after Paul, he had to escape.
Nothing of value changes with time, place, or circumstance.
Christ is the only un-changeable thing in the universe
Luke 24: 27 – He expounded unto them in all things concerning himself
