Matt 8: 5-13 The centurion’s faith is an example to all of us.
Luke 7: 1-10
Mark 5: 21-43
The human race is the anti-christ. You never have anything to do as a believer. Otherwise, you are led by yourself, your mind

Heb 11:1  We must have radical faith in order to obtain a good report.
Faith is 100% abandonment of self with no interest in the outcome.
Faith does not go by appearance.
Faith has no reference to what our minds can possibly receive.

What is the real battlefield?
Heb 11:1
Rom 8:10
How do we know we have faith if we can’t see it?
Our minds con us and say we can use our mind and call it faith.

The whole bible about moving from time and space to eternity (outside of time). The gospel is only to the poor. Everything in time and space opposes it. How do we reach the other side? By our death.
Luke 23: 26-43  How could Jesus say “today you’ll be with me in paradise?”  Because the ascension is the only real day.
We are dead and the real us is on the other side. We have to see our death.

Don’t be conformed to the world / Renewing of our mind
Gal 2:20 Yet not I that live…the goal is to  be not spotted by the flesh. We all have to see our death. It’s not true because it (scripture) says it is, it is only when it’s true internally. The test comes via the evil one. Many early believers were martyrs because they were a threat to everyone’s value system or way of life.
Luke 22: 24-30  You are they that continue with me in my temptations – definition of a disciple
Heb 4: 1-16  He (Christ) is the Sabbath; Let us labor to enter into the rest – unbelief is not entering into the rest
1 John 2:12  Little child, teenager, young man, father positions.  That is our trek.
The Lord’s Prayer – lead us not inward.
Our journey is from salvation to the mercy seat. Lead us not into temptation.

Warfare of the mind
Matt 13: 18-22
Discussion of where the seed (word) falls on most believers.
Hopefully we who hear the cross will be among those who are the good ground, hear, understand, bear fruit.
What does the Holy Spirit do? Convicts of sin where we don’t believe 100%.
Both Christ and Holy Spirit create an empty pipeline to the Father. Don’t ever think you’ve arrived, it creates a strong wall between you and the Father.

Jesus doesn’t “fix” our minds.
2 Cor 11:1  What does it mean for our mind to be corrupted. The serpent beguiled Eve by causing her to leave innocence (to self awareness).
Matt 18: 3  Except we be converted and become as a little child
Col 1: 20-23  What are wicked works? Self awareness. Salvation to sanctification – only happens through repentance. The only way you can understand the bible is by repentance, by repentance we become as a little child.
Romans 6: 1-4 newness of life
Romans 8: 6-8  If we are giving importance to things that exist in time and space, then  we are carnally minded. Now we continue with him in his temptation.
We must abandon self.

Battlefield of the mind – exchanging Gods
Gen 6: 5  Thoughts of the heart only evil continually
Eph 2:1-6
2 Cor 10: 1-6  Sanctification is about bringing every thought to the obedience of Christ, but only when we repent. Sanctification doesn’t happen because it says it happens but when we repent.
Confession need to happen in a seder in order to edify others in the seder group. The purpose of a seder is that we are sanctified as a body.
2 Cor 3: 14 – 4:7
