Rev 17: 1  Our minds are the great whore, committing fornication with the world, believing in cause and effect. Faith and hope have nothing to do with each other. The whore is sitting on the entire human race.
Rev. 19: 1 If we use our minds, we are giving the great whore power.  The bride has made herself ready. Are we making ourselves ready?
The spirit of prophecy is not foretelling the future, it is speaking / living by faith / in faith.
Matt 18: 1 – 5  Except you become as this little child.

Matt 18: 1 – 3 Except you be converted and become as this little child, you shall not enter the kingdom.
We lose awareness of self.  It’s not a gaining of awareness of Christ and self – that is double minded.
Genesis 3: 14  The serpent is cursed to eat dust.
The fall altered the universe.
Faith is the only thing that’s acceptable to God.

Numbers 9: 15
We as believers, are all on a journey from the world through the wilderness and the promised land to the mercy seat.
Exodus 40: 34 – 38  The church is apostate because we’ve lost the mystery of the journey, the cloud.
Numbers 9: 15
If we are not sick of the world system, we can’t repent.
God wants us to enter the Holy of Holies.
If there is more than one option, we wait. If there is doubt, we wait (i.e. the cloud). If there is no doubt, we move (the fire).

Genesis 6: 5
Genesis 8: 21  We have to see we are evil
Romans 8: 5 – 8  They that are in the flesh cannot please God. By definition, if we are using our mind, we are an enemy of God, we are “in the flesh.”  The only way to fix the situation is death. That’s what “enmity” means.
1 Jn 2: 12  “Young men” have overcome their minds but are not on the mercy seat. Our minds are the wicked one.
The trip from Egypt to the promised land is the trip we make as believers.
The cross always means your death.
Malachi 3: 16  The Lord’s shema
“Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another…and the Lord hearkened and heard.”

Matt 16: 24  We have to be willing to lose the desire to help ourselves in any way.  Self interest will always raise its ugly head.
1 Jn 2: 15  If any love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Romans 12: 1 Present your bodies a living sacrifice. Doing nothing to protect yourself.
From God’s standpoint it’s not done until we have completely presented ourselves / abandoned self / lost all self interest
We always try to compromise
The renewing of our mind happens when we no longer have our mind, but the empty mind of Christ.

Ex 20:12  Honor thy Father and Mother that it may be well with thee
Luke 14: 26  If any man come to me and hate not his father and mother, wife, children etc. and own life also…  We have to see who our father and mother are.  Our true father is God and our mother is the church, the bride.
And whosoever doesn’t bear his cross…
James 4:1  If we’re a friend of the world, we are an enemy of God
Hate the label.
Give no importance to anything in the world.
1 John 2: 15 – 17  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.
Time is a barrier to us understanding eternity.
All the apostles sealed the gospel with their blood.
The church has become a friend of the world.
