Fear and trembling
Isaiah 66: 1 – 2  poor, contrite and trembleth  The gospel is the same and was the same.
Isa 66: 3 – 12  Description of the bride
Phil 2: 5  “Let this mind be in you…” We must continue with him in his temptation. He came to preach to the poor. When we see we are poor, we can hear. Man of us are still trying to get God to bless our flesh.
Work out your own salvation in fear and trembling.
John 16: 1 – 11  The Holy Spirit is convicting all of sin, righteousness, and judgment; but he won’t violate your will. You must see the vanity of your thoughts and repent, perhaps a million times a day. There is no standard way of doing it.

Isaiah 64: 1 – 2  That the nations may tremble at thy presence. Nature itself causes fear and trembling.
Psalm 119: 113 – 120  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
Eph 6: 1 – 7  To bosses and masters
1 Cor. 2: 1 – 4  …was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling
Luke 8: 40 – 48  This woman came trembling.  That’s humility.
Acts 16: 25 – 31  The prison guard came in to Paul and Silas, trembling.
Acts 24: 21 – 26  Felix trembled. We’ve lost this fear of God.
Daniel 9: 15 Supplication means our death

Isaiah 66: 1 – 5  God will look to those of a poor and contrite spirit. We will automatically use the evil one in our understanding if we don’t tremble at his word. The only way is to repent from using our mind.
Jesus, in his utmost weakness in the wilderness, was tempted by the evil one but didn’t give in.
1 Samuel 16: 1 – 13 They trembled at Samuel’s presence because they knew their own sin
Ecclesiastes.  It takes some time to perceive that all parts of you are not accepted and we finally see our death at our baptism. The evil one, as you, is hidden. The preaching of the cross is the power of God, it has to produce your death. The rebelling has to come to an end.

Luke 16: 10  Cannot serve 2 masters – God and mammon (mammon = self-confidence)
Self justification is abomination to God. How often do we use our minds?  Our minds cannot serve God.

Phil 2: 1  Be of one accord, of one mind…In the 1st century, they didn’t proceed until there was agreement. They didn’t continue with the 3-year cycle until there was agreement / one-ness.
1 John 1: 12 – 17  Little children know they are forgiven, a blessed position.
James 3: 8 – 18  We must forgive from the heart all men
James 4: 1 – 4  The issue of everything is friendship with the world..this friendship of the world is enmity with God. Any who are friends of the world are enemies of God.
